Four suspects, one broken ATM and a stretch of swamp, sand and neon where nobody asks where the cash came from. This is who's in on it.

  1. Mingo the flamingo, bandana around its neck and a duffel bag of cash over one shoulder, against a sunset.

    Tall, pink and extremely calm. Mingo was standing at the right ATM at the right time and hasn't left since.

  2. Big Al the alligator in mirrored aviators and a pink shirt, spinning a boat key, in front of a swamp at sunset.

    Engine's running. It's always running.

    Runs airboat tours out in the Glades. Runs other things too. Nobody has caught his boat, mostly because nobody has seen it slow down.

    A pelican with a ring light and forty thousand followers. Keeps watch, keeps the pouch full and posts all of it, which is its own problem.
